TRIAD is a partnership that exists to reduce crimes against the elderly in central Kane County Tri-Cities areas including: Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, Elburn and Campton Hills. If you are looking for a way to reach seniors, or if you are a senior with a desire to volunteer and assist others, we invite you to join us! All are welcome to attend the monthly meetings at 9 a.m. on the third Friday of each month at the Pottawatomie Community Center.

This organization is in place to help reduce crimes against the elderly. It is in cooperation with IACP (the International Association of the Chief of Police), NSA (the National Sheriff's Association), your Local Government, AARP and local senior service provider and sponsors.
Purposes and Goals
The purpose and goals of TRIAD are:
To increase awareness of crimes against senior citizens.
To sponsor programs for senior citizens to reduce fear of crime and educate older citizens about preventive measures they can take to protect themselves.
To emphasize the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of senior citizens as crimes.
To improve communication and understanding between seniors and law enforcement.
To improve communication and understanding of the different roles of elder abuse agencies, and other appropriate organizations.

Low-Cost Transportation for Seniors
Ride In Kane provides transportation for seniors and the disabled. For a nominal fee, door-to-door transportation is offered to seniors within Geneva Township for medical visits, shopping or other personal needs. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For reservations contact Pace Central Call Center at 1-630-762-2600.

Central Kane County TRIAD is available to present senior programs at private senior facilities wishing to offer their clientele safety information concerning travel and financial security. For further information call Lynne at 630-513-6200.
